Duke Street In Motion is a multi-phased effort dedicated to enhancing transit options along the Duke Street corridor, from West End Alexandria to the King Street Metro Station. The project aims to align transportation improvements with the community's needs, offer efficient transportation choices, and ensure smooth regional mobility. Upon project completion, a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system will be at our doorstep, greatly enhancing convenience for accessing various destinations with ease.
In addition to buses right outside our doors and easy access to two metro stations, we're proud to have the convenience of two Capital Bikeshare stations next to our property.
To promote cost savings and preserve natural resources, management implemented several sustainability initiatives, including LED light usage and a free exchange program, water conservation measures, high efficiency furnaces/water heaters and daily recycling practices.
