Weekly Activities

Here you can find some simple ideas for reading and writing activities based on our work at school. They may include things to talk about with your child, simple games, and other activities that will help your child grow as a reader and writer. Do as many of these activities as you have time for. They will primarily be suggestions for making literacy fun!

Some of the games will be played with printed letter cards that will initially be provided. If possible, I recommend that you purchase a set of lowercase and uppercase magnetic letters, like these ones here.
