VT Youth Book Awards 

"The Red Clover Book Award is designed for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. Each year thousands of Vermont school children read the 10 nominated picture books and vote for their favorite in the spring. The award has been handed out annually since 1997" (Red Clover). 

Golden Dome Books are for fourth to eighth graders. A committee group made up of members librarians, teachers, and students take on the enormous task of attempting to read all of the books published over the course of one year for this age range. Then, they nominate their favorites. Every year I buy several of these books for our library that have been nominated. Come check them out!
