21st Century Community Learning Center Grant AWARD Community Notice
I am excited to announce that FNESU has been awarded the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant to help fund our afterschool, beforeschool, and summer programs. The grant includes Sheldon Elementary School as a new member of our Supervisory Union. Also new to this grant cycle is the addition of summer programs at Montgomery and Richford Elementary programs. The two new summer programs will run from 12:15pm until 5pm. Richford students are invited to join programming at the Richford NOTCH Summer Camp from 8am - 12pm. Montgomery students are invited to participate in the Montgomery Recreation Summer program, also from 8am-12pm. Both the Montgomery Rec and LEAPS summer programs will be hosted at the Montgomery Recration Center.
Thank you to all of our community partners, schools, parents, LEAPS staff, and students for your support and dedication to making the LEAPS program as strong and successful as they are. LEAPS has been, and will continue to be, a welcoming place for youth to explore their interests, learn, share their passions, and develop/strengthen relationships with their peers and adults.
Summer registration forms will be circulating shortly. Please check with your school's site coordinator with site-specific questions.
Thank you
Heather Moore

21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Application Community Notice
The Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union will be submitting a grant application for 21st Century Community Learning Center funds for continued financial support for our LEAPS Afterschool Programs. These are designated Federal funds that help cover the costs of our program offerings. As part of the grant application, funds have been requested to continue existing programs and develop summer programming at Richford Elementary and Montgomery Elementary Schools. It has also been requested that the federal funds designated to Sheldon Elementary School be reallocated to FNESU when/if Sheldon becomes a member of our supervisory union. Grant notification is expected in mid-April.
