Get Involved!

Volunteer

Become part of the action by volunteering to crew on a balloon during the event! Just bring a pair of work gloves and the pilots will coach you through helping to inflate and launch the balloon. Then jump in the chase vehicle and help pick up the pilot and load up the balloon.

Morning Ascension Opportunities:

This is the event where we REALLY need volunteers the most!

Balloon Crews: This involves helping to set them up and inflate them.

Chase Crews (usually the same as the balloon crew): This involves chasing down balloons and packing them up once they land. It is very helpful to have people who are familiar with Farmington's back roads and the Glade for the chase crews. That way they can most effectively get to the balloons wherever they land.

Morning Ascension Volunteers must arrive at 6:45 am.

Balloon Glow Opportunities:

Crewing for the balloons:  During the balloon glows in the evening they need help inflating and packing up, but they won't be flying.

Balloon Glow Volunteers must arrive at 6:30 pm.

Vendors

The City of Farmington is seeking FOOD and NON-FOOD vendors for the evening of September 30 during the balloon glow at the Farmington Museum.

Vendors must be able to provide required documentation and pay the non-refundable vendor fee to participate.

If you have a business and would like to be considered as a vendor, please submit your application by August 27th
