Out-of-District Options

Below are approved EdTech certification options hosted outside the school district. If you choose to complete one of these courses, remember to submit the certificate through the External Credit Request tab in Professional Learning to have the course added to your transcript.

Please be advised that Google Certification exams require the use of an Incognito window, a feature currently disabled on the FMSD network for security purposes. As a result, teachers who would like to take the exam while on the FMSD network will need to submit an IT ticket with the exam date so that incognito mode can be enabled temporarily and disabled after the exam.

We recommend scheduling your testing sessions on a home network to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted experience.

The Level 1 status indicates that an educator is able to successfully implement Google Apps for Education into their teaching practice in order to enhance teaching and learning. Fundamentals Training: This is a self paced course. By reading, watching videos, and doing activities, you'll learn how to integrate Google in your classroom. You can start and stop lessons at any time; your progress will be tracked throughout the course. You can start and stop lessons at any time; your progress will be tracked through the course.
