What is an eLearning Day? On eLearning Days, students do not report to school, but will complete classroom activities using technology, facilitated online or paper packets that are sent home. Teachers will provide a combination of delivery and instructional activity options for students that include high tech, low tech, and no tech activities. This will ensure that students with all levels of technology at home can participate. Students will need to demonstrate they have engaged with the material and understand the daily instructional objectives.
What if my child doesn't complete all the activities? eLearning Days have been developed to help students access learning opportunities while having to stay at home. Students are not penalized if they are unable to complete all the assignments. It is our hope that students are giving a good faith effort to continue learning while at home.
How will I know if school is changed to an eLearning Day(s)? The district will communicate school cancellations and the announcement of an eLearning Day(s) through phone calls, district/school websites, social media, and local media. Our eLearning program will begin for all students on Wednesday, March 18th.

Questions sent via email outside of the determined office hours will be answered within 24 hours. For other questions, please call your student’s school Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m - 1:00 p.m.
How does my student turn in his/her work in order to receive attendance credit for the eLearning Day(s)? Students are expected to complete activities/assignments daily during an eLearning Day(s). How students submit work depends on the teacher’s assignment and student’s access to technology. Directions for submitting work should be identified by the teacher.
Am I expected to teach my student his/her assignment? No, the assignment should be an extension of material learned in class. Like homework assignments, parents may support their student in completing work. Do not hesitate to communicate with your student’s teacher if there was difficulty in your student completing the assignment.
