Desert

Welcome to the Desert! Did you know that the desert can be extremely hot during the day and freezing at night? Desert land takes up 1/3 of the earths surface. They have little rain fall and its hard for plants and animals to survive here. The animals have adapted to this habitat so they can live with little water! 

Believe it or not, there are plenty of animals that live in the desert. They have learned to adapt to their environment. Read about some of the desert animals below.
