Here is some information to help you prepare for the PAT’s:

  • Eat a healthy breakfast the morning of PAT’s. Writing on an empty stomach will not benefit you!
  • Bring a bottle of water, sharpened pencil and eraser to the tests. For math you will also need your protractors, calculator and rulers.
  • Use the washroom before the test, as you are required to remain in the classroom the entire time, unless it is an emergency.
  • During the test remember to relax and take deep breaths to relieve any anxiety.
  • Make sure you are on time on the day of the test, as you will not be allowed to write on that day if you are late. If you miss a PAT you will write the test on the day you return.
