For those wanting more information on the school year, Administration does not get back into the building until Wednesday Aug. 18th and teachers return on August 24th. If you registered prior to June 15th your child is enrolled. You can expect teachers to be in contact with more information closer to the school opening dates.
While last year many of us experienced at-home learning for the first time, it is important to understand E-Cademy+ will have some similarities and significant differences. It is vital that students in E-Cademy+ receive the same coverage of curriculum and support as a student in a traditional classroom during a full year of school.
There are no school fees associated with E-Cademy+.
Parents are responsible for providing the necessary school supplies and technology so students can participate at home. If technology is a barrier, please contact your principal to discuss how we may be able to support your technology needs.
Parents will be integral partners to this learning process, which may take on many forms (ensuring that students stay on track with task completion, work submission and communicate with the teacher as needed).
It is strongly recommended that students stick to a daily routine and have a specific desk area set up as the learning space.
It is important for students to attend the daily Google Meets on time. Attendance will be taken just as it would in a regular classroom. Teachers will send Google invites with the daily course codes for the Google Meet access to the student's email.
Students will need to use their FMPSD email to access the Google Classroom and Google Meets. Contact the office if the password needs to be reset.
