Hello Rowdy Indians!

This is Ms. Lorisa Qumawunu and I will be your 2nd Grade Teacher for the SY 2020-2021. I am excited for us to start our online learning and look forward to seeing all your happy faces via Zoom. A little about myself, I am a wife and mother to a precious 3 year old named Charlie. I come from the village of Kykotsmovi and am Fire Clan. I have been teaching since 2015, 2 years in 6th grade, 1 year in 3rd grade, and this will be my 3rd year in 2nd Grade here at FMES! I have been working in education for well over 12 years. I used to be a Park Ranger in Colorado before moving over to education in 2008. With our online distance learning this school year, I ask that WE all be patient in our learning and understand that WE will get through this together. It will be a new learning experience but we will have fun with it as we proceed through the school year. Welcome Everyone!!
