The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB) determines your eligibility for enlistment in the U.S. armed forces. It is a multiple-choice test administered by the Department of Defense. Designed to assess your abilities in various domains, it has subtests that cover Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Mathematics Knowledge. You take the test at Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) or at approved high schools and colleges.

Scores are available within a few days of taking the test

The scores are used to determine if you are qualified to enlist in the military
It helps identify the military occupations best suited to your skills and interests
