The FAST progress monitoring assessments will be administered three separate times per year: once in the fall (August-September), again in the winter (December-January), and lastly during the spring (May). FLVS Full Time students in grades 3-5 will have the opportunity to take the fall and winter progress monitoring assessments from the comfort of their own homes. They will be conducted through a secured browser and proctored remotely by a teacher. More information on that coming this fall. Although testing from a remote location will be available for the fall and winter assessment periods, similar to what was previously done for FSA, Full Time students must return to their assigned test site for the spring administration. Per statute, all public school students, including FLVS Full Time students, will be required to take the following assessments:
Coordinated Screening and Progress Monitoring System (CSPM) (fall, winter, and spring)
FAST Mathematics in grades K-8
FAST English Language Arts in grades K-10
Grades 5 Statewide Science Assessments (once in the spring)
