AICE is an international curriculum and examination program that prepares students to enter college, provides them with the skills required to be successful once there, and once earned, qualifies students for the Florida Academic Bright Futures Scholarship.
It also offers students the opportunity to tailor their needs to their individual interests, abilities, and future plans within an international curriculum framework.
Yes, this is very important! Live Lessons are where key content is taught, questions are answered, and support is given. Think of them as your academic lifeline. Regular attendance helps you stay on track and succeed in both the class and the exam.
It's also one of our core expectations about your participation in the program!
At the end of each semester, we conduct a holistic review of every student to determine whether the program continues to be the right fit.
This review includes an evaluation of grades, attendance, assessment scores, and other relevant factors. Decisions are made individually, with the goal of supporting each student’s success and growth.
Not always. If you're continuing with the same organization and doing the same role, you're all set, no need to resubmit.
However, if you're switching to a different organization, even if the role is similar, you do need to submit a new form.
If you're doing something completely new, new organization and new role, then yes, you’ll definitely need to get it approved again.
Nope! You still earn high school credit for completing the course, even if the AICE exam doesn’t go your way. The exam is part of the AICE diploma requirements, but it doesn’t affect your high school transcript credit.
Not exactly. If you passed the class, you’re good on the high school side. However, you can be placed in a retake section to help you prepare for another shot at the AICE exam. It’s a chance to strengthen your skills and boost your score.
"UNGRADED" on the score report indicates that the tester did not earn enough points on the exam to pass. This is a failing grade.
"NO RESULT" means that the candidate did not attend one or more required testing sessions for that course. This is a failing grade.
Nope, just for fun! These gatherings are optional, but they’re a great way to connect with other AICE students, share experiences, and build community. Come for the good vibes, stay for the jokes!
