Student Instructions 

1. Read through lesson 2.01 in the course and complete section 2.01 of your Biology Guided Notes as you go.

2. Watch the Properties of Water video to review the lesson before taking the quiz.

3. Complete the 2.01 quiz found in your grade book. You get 3 attempts, but it keeps the most recent grade, not the highest grade.

• 1. Read through lesson 2.02 in the course and complete section 2.02 of your Biology Guided Notes as you go.

  2. Watch the Microscope Help Video to learn how to complete the activity needed before you take the quiz.

  3. Complete the 2.02 quiz in your gradebook. You get 3 attempts, but it keeps the most recent grade, not the highest grade.

  2. Watch the Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Video to review the lesson before taking the quiz.

  2. Complete the 2.03A quiz in your gradebook. You get 3 attempts, but it keeps the most recent grade, not the highest grade.

  3. Yes, you need to complete BOTH 2.03 and 2.03A.

Student Instructions:

• 1. Read through lesson 2.04 in the course and complete section 2.04 of your Biology Guided Notes as you go.

  2. Open the Lab Report Teacher Walk-Through slides while you are completing the lab report using the provided lab report template. 

  3. Use the teacher experiment video found in the instructions of the lab report to complete this lab.

  4. Submit the completed lab report as a Microsoft Word or PDF file in your grade book.

  2. Watch one or more of the content help videos before taking the quiz.

  3. Complete the 2.05 quiz in your grade book. You get 3 attempts, but it keeps the most recent grade, not the highest grade.

• 1. Read through lesson 2.06 in the course and complete section 2.06 of your Biology Guided Notes as you go.

  2. Complete the 2.06 quiz in your gradebook. You get 3 attempts, but it keeps the most recent grade, not the highest grade.

Student Instructions: 

1. Get excited! DBAs are a great opportunity for you to share all you have learned in the module during a one-on-one, voice-to-voice conversation with your teacher. They are not something for you to stress over….I promise! DBA= Don't Be Afraid

   • Helpful Tip! Prepare/study for the DBA exactly as you would for the module exam. Not only does this ensure you are well-prepared for the DBA, but it also cuts down on your prep time before you take your module exam.

2. Complete the "Test your knowledge" review activity in the 1.04 course lesson.

3. Ensure ALL sections of your Biology Guided Notes for Module 2 are complete. You can use this during your DBA.

4. Review the DBA Rubric to see how you will be scored on this assessment.  

5. Schedule a call with your teacher. 

6. Complete (and pass!) your DBA to earn the password for the exam. 

7. After it is complete, Don't forget to submit the DBA assignment in your gradebook with the date and time placed in the student comment section of the submission.

1. Prepare for your exam by reviewing your guided notes and the provided review material (review sheet, PowerPoint slides, and video).

2. Remember: You can use your notes on the exam, but you cannot use other outside sources or people. 

3. You only have ONE attempt on this exam. Please make sure you have enough time to take the full exam when you log in to start it. 

4. The password for this exam is provided to you from your instructor after completing the Module 2 DBA.

5. Take a deep breath! You've got this. Go show off all the awesome things you learned in Module 2!
