Step 2) Review the Cambridge Course Syllabus HERE (2025-2027) so you know what to expect on the exam.
Review exam subject content starting on page 13 & use THIS LIST to check topics you know! Make flashcards, draw, list examples OR take notes on topics unfamiliar to you.

Step 3) Review the proper response for all AICE COMMAND VERBS for Paper 1, Section A & Paper 2 style questions for ALL the marks! View this video for command verb tips!
Step 4) Prepare to write a Paper 1, Section B style essays by reviewing AICE EM writing tips HERE!! REMEMBER, these essays ALWAYS have ALL 5 parts for ALL the marks:
Show an awareness of the nature of the question (What is this topic and why is it important?)
Describe the objective(s) in the question (What is your position based on/and referring to the prompt)
Use relevant information provided in the question or from other local, national, or regional examples (have specific EXAMPLES to support your position in the main body of the essay! Use this Worksheet to brainstorm examples HERE!)
Give a balanced argument related to the question (What is the other side of the story, OR limitations/disadvantages of the program?)
Reach a conclusion that is based on qualitative and/or quantitative information (Reiterate the big ideas of the essay, reflecting back to the prompt and supporting it with evidence)
Step 5) Take time to review the math calculations and equations to know HERE!
Step 6) Review graphing requirements the AICE Syllabus HERE! Keep your graphs properly scaled and appropriate to represent the data. Practice graphing using the following (whale) "TAIL" tips (or read more about selecting graphs from this resource):
Graphs have TAILS
T - Title: Write above graph and be descriptive.
A - Axes: Drawn neat and straight. Use a ruler.
I - Intervals: The space between each value on the scale is called an interval. They must increase by an equal amount, be clearly numbered. Graph must include all data points.
L - Labels: Correctly indicate what is graphed (DRY MIX). Indicate the units in parentheses.
S - Scale X/Y: Pick the intervals so that most of the graph paper is used to plot the data. Typically use 1 ,2, 5 or 10 as the scale.
*Additional info: Use an “x” instead of a dot when plotting data, use pencil and eraser to keep graph neat, use ruler for straight lines.

Remember to visualize the exam day in a positive way- you WILL rock this exam! What time do you need to wake up, leave your house and what do you need to have packed? Plan for a successful morning so you can focus on doing your best!!
