I have been a teacher for 27 years. This is my 13th year as a Library Media Specialist. I love my job and Fountain Lake! I've spent most of my career in the middle school and am excited to be in the high school now.

Most Weekends my husband and I are out exploring in the Jeep, finding waterfalls, interesting places and MUD!

This will be my 11th year at Fountain Lake. My husband is Coach Detmerring and we have two boys, Dillon and Drew. I spend a lot of time on the basketball court, football and baseball field watching my boys play.

I lived in Virginia for a year after I got married.
I've traveled to Europe.
