English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

I am one of the ESOL teachers at Alto Park.  I am excited to be going into the classrooms to provide instruction for English language development and support your children while they are learning the English language.

This is my 27th year of teaching.   I have taught kindergarten, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade.  I received my ESOL certification in 2009 and provide strategies and accommodations to meet the students' needs.  I am excited to be focusing my teaching on helping students succeed in the English language.   I have an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction and a Master's in Elementary Education.  I also have endorsements in ESOL, Reading, and Gifted Education.
