The 2025-2026 school year begins nineteen years of teaching for me. I have taught a majority of my career in 5th Grade English/Language Arts. I grew up in Floyd County, and I am excited to continue my teaching career where I grew up. I graduated from Pepperell High School in 2002, and I earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in 2006. I completed a Master of Science in Education in 2009 and received my Ed.S in 2011 through Walden University. My husband, Ryan Evans, teaches 5th/7th grade Social Studies at MMS, and he coaches softball and baseball at Model High School. We have a daughter, Faith (19), a son, Brock (14), and a daughter, Paisley (4). I enjoy teaching at Model Middle School and look forward to the years to come! When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family, swimming, and reading.
