Meet Your Teacher!

I am so excited and honored to be working with you and your child this year! This is my first year teaching in Floyd County and at Armuchee Elementary, but it is my 22nd year teaching elementary school.  I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and Kindergarten. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Shorter College, my Master of Education degree from Piedmont College, and my Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.  I've also received my ESOL and Reading endorsements.  I'm also a proud graduate of Armuchee High School, and I am so excited to come back to the community that I love and work with you to help your child achieve many academic goals! It's going to be a great year!  Go Indians!
