I have been an educator for over 25 years, and this is my fifth year teaching Pre-K here at PPS. I spent the majority of my career in higher education as a college administrator and instructor, but also have experience in high, middle, and elementary schools. I hold bachelors and masters degrees from the University of West Georgia, and an education specialist degree from Georgia Southern University. I am excited about the opportunities to help your children be the best they can be as they begin their educational journey. In my spare time I enjoy soccer, traveling, and am a huge Marvel fan!
Hello. I am excited to be spending this school year with your children. Let me introduce myself and tell you a little of my background.
My name is Ms. Dalila Cornejo-Almaraz and I am the classroom paraprofessional. This is my first year working at PPS and I am currently studying to obtain my teaching degree. I am a graduate of Pepperell High and also serve as a color guard instructor for PHS. I am excited to share my joy of learning through interacting with students.
I look forward to this year’s journey.
Captain Zap is our own classroom superhero! He loves celebrating special days with our class, especially when it is someone's birthday! He loves to sing (although it certainly is not a super power) and shares his super hero masks and capes with each student on their special day. Capt. Zap helps remind our students about ways we can be super in our own lives, by following classroom rules, being kind to our friends, and always following the Three Be's - Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Safe.
