Hi, my name is Savanna Knight. I am a Special Education inclusion teacher here at Pepperell High School. It is my goal to work with other educators in the building to empower students' critical thinking skills while offering them a quality education. In addition, it is my intention to build a positive environment where everyone is pumped about learning.
At PHS, we are ready and excited for another great school year. I look forward to seeing old faces as well as meeting new ones. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Just a little information about me. I graduated from Armuchee High School in 2005, and then gained an academic and athletic basketball scholarship to Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. After two and a half years at GCSU, I transferred to the University of West Georgia and earned an Early Childhood Education degree in May of 2010.
Previously, I taught at Pepperell Middle School from 2010 to 2013 and Rome Middle School from 2013 to 2015 before taking a year off and being a stay-at-home mom. At the beginning of the 2016 school year, I joined PHS as an Algebra 1 mathematics teacher. Currently, I am a Special Education Inclusion Teacher as well as Associate Athletic Director.
