Welcome to Ms.Rhinehart's Page! 

I'm a 5th-grade Science teacher at Coosa Middle School! This is my 11th year teaching! I spent my first year at Marietta Middle School teaching 8th-grade science. I spent the next five years at GLES teaching 5th-grade science and social studies. This year marks my 5th year at CMS, where I have taught both Science and Social Studies. 

I graduated from Shorter University with a degree in Middle Grades Education with a focus on Science & Social Science, a Master's in Middle Grades Social Studies from Kennesaw State University, and a Specialist degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Berry College. I have endorsements in Online Teaching, Gifted Education, and Reading. I will be starting my ESOL Endorsement this year!

 I attended CMS as a child and love being a part of Eagle Nation, now as an educator!

My approach to teaching revolves around problem-solving & project-based learning! I believe in hands-on activities, labs, and making real-world connections for my students! I look forward to a fantastic year of learning and growing at CMS!
