About Señora Arévalo

I am from Rome, Georgia. I graduated from Model High School. In 8th grade, I decided I was going to be a Spanish teacher, and I followed that dream all throughout college. I studied abroad in Costa Rica and lived in Chile, and in 2017 I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature. In the classroom, I love teaching through the use of songs, storytelling, games and really any activity that promotes movement!

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, watching lots of HGTV and spending time with my husband and my dog.
