Hello, bookworms and soon-to-be bookworms—and a big hello to our amazing school families, too!

My name is Ms. Chapman, and I am absolutely thrilled to welcome you and your children to the 2026-2027 school year!

Before stepping into the library full-time, I spent years teaching in both elementary and middle-grade classrooms. That time taught me so much about how kids learn, what makes them laugh, and how to spot the exact moment a student falls in love with reading. Now, as our school’s Library Media Specialist, I get to use that experience every day to turn our library into a welcoming, exciting space. Since the library is part of the EnCore (activity) rotation, I am lucky enough to see and work with every single student in the school!

When I’m not helping your little ones browse the shelves during rotation, I also get to coach our fantastic 4th Grade Reading Bowl team!

Whether you’re into silly jokes that make you giggle, thrilling adventures, or mind-bending mysteries, there is a book here with your name on it. Whether you are just starting with picture books or you're ready to tackle big chapter books, we have something that will spark your imagination.

For Our Parents...

I view us as a team! Finding that "just right" book can sometimes feel like searching for hidden treasure, especially when you're trying to balance reading levels with a child's actual interests. Please consider me your partner in your child’s literacy journey.
