HOMEWORK: Your child will receive a reading log every Monday. Please log your child's reading for the week. If it is completed, your child will get a prize!

Sometimes I also send home high frequency words for the week. If you receive these, please practice them at home. 

TESTS: Students will be given a short weekly test based on the phonics and reading skills we have worked on that week. They will be given a Unit test every 3 weeks to recap everything we have learned that unit. 

GRADING: 40% classwork, quizzes, homework and 60% tests, projects, papers
