I am and have been married with children for the past 35 years.  My wife Nicole and I met as juniors in high school.  We have four children ranging in age from 35 to 21.  We have five grandchildren.

Before Teaching:

• After graduating high school, I served four years in the United States Navy 

• Worked at the National Security Agency (NSA) as a Cryptologic Technician working in the Foreign Satellite Operational Control Center

• Served in ministry as the lead pastor of a rural church congregation

• Worked with Communities in Schools as an At-Risk Intervention Specialist

Coaching Story:

I began coaching because the local rec dept. needed warm bodies.  I coached 6 years with the recreation department while my two boys were a part of the organization.  I then took a position coaching their middle school team.  From there I had the opportunity to join my first high school staff under Scott Mason at Florala High School.  Shortly after, I was invited to join the staff at Opp High School under former University of Alabama Head Coach and Tampa Bay Defensive Line Coach, Mike Dubose.  Obviously, this offered me an opportunity to learn football on an entirely different level.  

How did we get to Lindale?

My wife has worked for Shaw Inc. for quite some time.  She began her career with them while living in Andalusia, AL.  In 2023, she was offered a promotion that required her to relocate to the Cartersville area.  Wanting to remain married, I began looking for a position in the same vacinity.  The wonderful people at Pepperell offered me the opportunity to teach and coach at PMS, and so here I am.
