Hi! I am excited to be beginning my first year at Pepperell Elementary School and my 18th year in education. I grew up attending Floyd County Schools and graduated from Armuchee High School. I then attended Shorter College on both athletic and academic scholarships, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I later earned my Master's degree from Troy University and my Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Augusta University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Exceptional Needs Specialist.
My husband Jacob coaches at Pepperell High School, and we have three children- Rett (12), Joey (10), and Woodrow (4) who will all be attending Pepperell schools this year. As a family, we are excited to become part of the Pepperell community.
I am passionate about helping every child reach their full potential and creating a classroom where students feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn. I look forward to partnering with students and families for a wonderful school year!
