I’m a lifelong Georgia girl and proud University of Georgia graduate, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree. I later continued my education at Berry College, earning my Master’s degree, and at Piedmont College, where I earned my Education Specialist degree.
I’ve been blessed to spend 35 years in education, with 21 of those years right here in the Coosa community. Teaching has been such an important part of my life, and I’m grateful for the countless students, families, and memories that have made these years so special.
When I’m not at school, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family or planning our next adventure. My husband, Andy, and I love to travel and explore new places together. We have one grown daughter, Laura, who lives in South Carolina, and I’m also the proud owner of Toby, my sweet 17-year-old cat who has been part of our family for many years.
I’m thankful for the life I’ve been given, the people who have shared it with me, and especially the opportunity to do a job I truly love.
