My name is Matthew Nedvin, and I teach chorus at Coosa High School. I am proud to be a Coosa Eagle! 

I grew up in Rome and graduated from Rome High. I attended my undergraduate at the Eastman School of Music, where I received a B.M. in Music Education, Summa Cum Laude. After graduating, I moved back to Rome, married my high school sweetheart Tessa, and began teaching music!

I completed my Masters Degree online through Boston University in 2023, receiving a M.M. in Music Education, Summa Cum Laude.  

I sing regularly with Orpheus Men's Ensemble, performing around GA and at music conferences with a choir of other professional musicians and music educators. Though I am taking this season off as I adjust to my new position here at Coosa, I look forward to returning to Orpheus and inviting the Coosa community to attend our concerts!
