Hi everyone! My name is Tara Workman and I'm so excited to have you in my class this year! 

I am originally from Warner Robins, Georgia where I graduated from Warner Robins High School. After high school, I attended Macon State College and later Armstrong Atlantic State University where I earned my Bachelor's in History with Teacher Certification. I also attended Southern New Hampshire University where I earned my Master's in History. I am certified to teach Broadfield Social Studies in grades 6-12 and have received certifications in gifted education as well as various Advanced Placement courses.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy many different hobbies such as learning new recipes, gardening, photography, reading, hiking and kayaking, hanging out with family and friends, and more!

Class supplies are listed in the Syllabus section. Any and all donations of tissues, sanitizer wipes, hand sanitizer, and/or school supplies are greatly appreciated!
