Welcome to my website! I am so excited to be a part of Armuchee Elementary as a 4th grade teacher. I can't wait to meet you and your child. I believe teaching is my true calling and I'm very passionate and committed to helping your child reach his or her full potential. I believe students are most successful when schools and families work together, so please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I look forward to hearing from you!
Upon graduating from Model High School, I attended Kennesaw State University and obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have my Master's of Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia and my Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College. Additionally, I have my endorsements in the areas of Reading, Math, Gifted, ESOL, and Dyslexia.
The 2026-2027 school year will be my 19th year as an educator. This is my third year teaching 4th grade at AES. In previous years I have taught pre-K, kindergarten, 1st grade and 3rd grade. I also spent one year as a special education teacher, where I served students in grades k-5th.
