Student Council might be the perfect fit for you!  MHS is looking for individuals who want to serve their school by giving a voice to the students.  The Student Council will be comprised of student officers and general members.  Starting next year, there will be 8 representatives from each grade level. Members meet biweekly to plan school-wide and community-wide events throughout the year, such as the homecoming dance, fundraising initiatives, and Mayfair.  Class Officers are chosen from the six class representatives within Student Council.  Any student may attend Student Council meetings.  To find out more information about running for office, go to Google Classroom to access the application.  After Spring Break, Ms. Mitchell will contact candidates for interviews with herself, Mrs. Allison, and a couple of Senior members.   Applications are due by Friday, April 3rd.

Eligibility to run for office:  Must be in good standing with faculty, administration, and peers.  Must have at least an unweighted GPA of 2.5.
