My name is Leann Wiggins and this is my thirteenth year in education and my 9th year at Coosa Middle. I have taught several different academics, but science and social studies are my favorite! I graduated from Valdosta State University with a Master's in Curriculum & Instruction and Summa Cum Laude from Shorter University with a Bachelor's in Education. I am certified in Early Childhood, Middle Grades Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have Online Teaching , Gifted, and Reading endorsements. I have an Associate in Business Administration (Georgia Highlands - Summa Cum Laude), Associate of Applied Science in General Business/Accounting (Floyd College/CVT - Cum Laude) and an Accounting Diploma (Coosa Valley Tech). 

I am married and have one daughter, Erica. We have a very spoiled soon to be fifteen-year old furbaby named Snoop. I spent over eighteen years in accounting at a manufacturing facility, so I have been on both sides of the employer/employee spectrum. It has given me the unique perspective of knowing what employers are looking for and how the up and coming future workers can fulfill those expectations - whether it is college, the military, or on to employment - I want students to be prepared to have a successful future.
