Welcome friends! I am the 4th grade special education inclusion/resource teacher at AES. I've been teaching for 12 years, after a previous career in the hospital setting as a Child Life Specialist. I have a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development-Child Life from the University of Georgia and a Master's in Special Education from Georgia Southern University. I have worked in the self-contained, resource, and inclusion settings. In addition to teaching, I also coach cross country at AHS and girls' soccer at AMS. Outside of school, I coach an elementary running club (LiveWires) and serve on the board for Extra Special People (ESP) Rome. My husband and I have two boys, Cade (12) and Cole (8).
