Hello! My name is Haleigh Burdick, and I am a 3rd-grade teacher here at Alto Park. I will be teaching ELA and writing this year. I graduated from the University of North Georgia in 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education. I also obtained my reading endorsement there. Currently, I am working on my gifted endorsement. This will be my 3rd year teaching. I previously taught 1st grade at Jefferson Elementary School for 2 years before taking a year off to be with my daughter. I am ecstatic to be stepping back into the classroom this year! I know this school year is going to be great!
