Welcome! My name is Erin Brooks and I teach Special Education here at Garden Lakes Elementary!  I do my best to create a warm, loving, and fun environment where every moment counts!  We will be learning through a multi-sensory approach and will have a lot of fun doing so!  This is my 15th year in education and I have taught many grades: Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and music.  This is my 4th year working in special education.  I graduated with my bachelors in education from the University of West Georgia and soon after got my masters in Integrating Arts in Education from Lesley University.  I also have my specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.  I have endorsements in Dyslexia and Math and am currently being trained in LETRS, the science of reading.  Its going to be the best year yet!
