Communication

This academic year, strong communication will play a crucial role. Our school website will serve as a platform for updates on our ongoing initiatives and provide relevant resources for your use at home. Also, we'll use Parent Square and email to convey important messages. Please feel free to reach out to me or Mrs. Hanks at any time if you have any questions or concerns.

Policy on Beverage Consumption:

To maintain a conducive learning environment, students are permitted to bring only sealed bottles of CLEAR WATER to school. The consumption of sugared flavor packets or alternative beverages is not allowed, as these may lead to spillages and subsequent difficulties in cleaning. Clear water is preferred in the event of accidents, as it facilitates easier cleanup procedures. As a standard practice, students' water bottles are stored in designated buckets within the hallway to minimize disruptions in the classroom setting. This policy was implemented last year and has proven to be highly effective in promoting a focused academic atmosphere.

         NO SODAS OR GUM ALLOWED!

Communication

You know your child better than anyone! :) If written notes are not the best means of communication, please let us know through email, school calls, or Parent Square.

Also, please remember that it is a Floyd County policy that teachers and staff are not to communicate with parents through social media. If you need to discuss anything with your child’s teacher, please email or call the school (706-290-8527).
