I have been teaching for 32 years! All have been at Model Elementary. I taught 5th grade 1year, First Grade for 16 years, K/1 multi-age class for 2 years and this is my 13th year teaching Kindergarten.
My Educational background includes:
Bachelors of Education from Shorter University
Masters in Instructional Technology from the University of West Georgia
Specialist in Education Leadership from Berry College.
This is Mrs. Robinson's third year as a paraprofessional at Model Elementary School.
Mrs. Robinson is a graduate from Model High School. She graduated from Georgia Highlands with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She is currently enrolled at Shorter University working on her degree in Education. This is her 4th year as a kindergarten paraprofessional. She will be student teaching in the Spring.

We use A Story of Units Math program. The students are engaged in daily hands-on activities to help enhance early math numeracy skills.
We use the Benchmark Advanced Reading Program. The students experience all type of literature. We focus on phonological awareness and oral reading and comprehension.
Each day the students write about personal experiences. We are growing each day as readers and writers.
