Welcome to Mrs. B's Page!

I joined CMS after making a decision to make a big career change. Prior to joining the awesome staff here at CMS, I worked as the communications manager for the Orlando Magic. Before then, I worked for the University of Georgia football team in their media department. Though I have a bit of a different background, I have a huge heart for kids, which lead me here.

Going into my second year in my career transition, I am so excited for my new group of students to teach and love every single day. I enjoy bringing a sense of fun and unity into my classroom, allowing each student to express their true selves. My biggest accomplishment from my first year was seeing the growth in all of my students and building a personal, one-on-one relationship with each of them. In my classroom, we are one and we learn and have fun as one.

In addition to teaching 7th grade ELA, I coach girls basketball and competition cheer at both the middle and high school levels. I also serve as the school's PR liaison and YB co-advisor.

I am a proud grad from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS) where I obtained a bachelor's degree in sport management and communications and a master's degree in administration.

I am a wife to Brad and mom to two beautiful girls, Harper and Sutton, three girls if you count our furbaby, Loka :)
