About me

I have been married to my husband, Jack, for 18 years. We have 3 daughters, Mary Jack (15), Katy (13) and Morgan (10). This is my 24th year teaching high school math and I have taught a variety of grades and courses during that time. More than teaching kids math, I love to get to know my students on a more personal level. I feel the more they get to know me and trust me, the more comfortable they will be asking me for help when they need it. My favorite course would have to be statistics. I love that it is a very hands-on and practical math that I can honestly say students will see often in the "real world". Outside of teaching I love spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, playing with our pets, working out at Rome Strength & Fitness.
