About me

Hello!  I am Mr. Charles Elliott and I am excited to be your teacher this year. 

I am originally from Miami, Florida.  After graduating High School I enlisted in the Army, after twenty years of service I retired in 2005.  During my time in the military I spent my time in 3rd Ranger Battalion and Delta Force.  After the military I moved to Warner Robins, Georgia where I was the owner and operator of two Shane's Rib Shack restaurants. In 2017 I decided to go back to school where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary History Education from Shorter University.  

I am married to a wonderful woman name Laura.  We have five children, well six if you include my awesome dog Fin. During my free time I like to travel, hike, and mountain bike. 

As I mentioned, I am very excited to be your teacher this year at AHS/AMS.  Look forward to working with all of you to help you realize your potential and achieve your educational goals.
