We will be using Essential Elements for Band for our first year of Band. Students can watch instructional videos and practice along with songs in their book by using Essential Elements Interactive. It is free with the purchase of their band book. www.EssentialElementsInteractive.com

To activate your student account and join your teacher's EEi Online Classroom* :

School Code MMS Band (Case Sensitive)

Student ID

On the EEi website, click on the student icon and click "Enroll in Your Class."

Enter School Code and Student ID

Create a user name and password and answer the questions pertaining to your book.

* EEi is designed for teachers and students as an extension of the classroom.

Q: Do I need to pick my students instrument up from Gadsden Music?

A: No, they will deliver it to the school.


Q: Is there a list of instrument brand names?

A: Yes, if you are not purchasing/renting through Gadsden music, then look for the following Brand Names:

Q: Do I need to purchase a folding stand for my student?

A: It would be very helpful for them if they had a stand at home to practice with, but it is not required.


Q: Do we need to purchase a book for the class?

A: Yes, we are using Essential Elements for Band 2000 book 1. You may purchase this through Gadsden Music or any other website that offers it.


Q: Will everyone be in the same class?

A: We have separate woodwind and brass classes.
