All State Info for students/parents

All State Chorus is a highly acclaimed event held at the Classic Center in Athens, GA. The students who wish to audition will need to be dedicated to advancing their musical skills, as the first audition process can be difficult. Choral students are selected from all over the state of Georgia audition.

Below is a list of the choirs students will be auditioning for:

7th/8th Grade

~Middle School Treble

~Middle School Mixed

~Middle School Tenor Bass

9th/ 10th Grade

~Intermediate Mixed

~Senior Women*

~Senior Men*

11th/12th Grade

~Senior Mixed

~Senior Women*

~Senior Men*

*Senior Women and Senior Men are two choirs that contain 9th -12th grade students.

1st Audition

November 8th (audition times will be determined closer to date)
Woodland High School, Emerson, GA
Parents provide transportation there (Students may car pool)
Students register in the gym, parents may wait in the cafeteria
Audition: Memorized Solo, Major, Minor and Chromatic Scales, Three Sight Readings

2nd Audition

January 22nd After School
Pepperell Middle School, Rome, GA
Register in the cafeteria, parents pick-up at the end of auditions
Part-Check: Sing assigned part of music for the event (this is a check to make certain you are prepared)

February 19th - 21st, 2026

Athens Classic Center
