A transcript is a record of your high school grades and test scores. Colleges and technical colleges must have a transcript.
For in-state colleges, go to www.GAFutures.org to update or set up your account. Make sure your Social Security Number is correct. Without this, your transcript will not be submitted, and you will not be eligible for HOPE. Your Username should be your lunch # and your last name (12345reece), your password will need to be Password*26. This format allows administrators to access if you get locked out. You are welcome to email me (preece@floydboe.net) as well if you cannot access your profile.
Directions:
1. Sign in to GAFutures. Update your password to the one above. Update your profile, making sure your SS# is correct.
2. Click My Transcript on the left side of the screen.
3. Select the school(s) to which you would like to send your transcript. If not listed, enter your SS#. Check the acknowledgement box, then hit SEND.
For out-of-state schools, Coach Reece will have to mail the transcript for it to be official. Please email preece@floydboe.net with the request and provide a link to the school's admissions website.
After graduation, your final transcript will be sent to the school you plan to attend. You will complete a request form at a senior meeting prior to graduation. A postsecondary institution cannot admit you without the final transcript. The NCAA and NAIA also require a final transcript for scholarships or athletic eligibility, so be sure to request a transcript be sent to them as well as your college.
