Hi! I’m Lacey King, BSN, RN. After 19 years in nursing, I’m excited to begin a new chapter as a Healthcare Science/CNA instructor. Although this career path is completely different from nursing, I’m excited about the opportunity to share my experience and support students as they prepare for their futures.
I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Georgia Highlands College and 16 years later my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University. I’m passionate about bringing real-world healthcare experience into the classroom and helping students build the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to succeed. I also enjoy helping students learn practical, real-life skills that extend beyond healthcare and can benefit them in their everyday lives and future careers. I strive to foster a classroom environment where students feel supported, motivated to grow, and inspired to pursue their goals in healthcare and beyond.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, strength training, reading, and gardening.
