Hello! My name is Katharine Matthews and I teach 8th and 9th grade Science at AHS. I started my teaching career in 2012 in middle grades education and this is my third year at Armuchee.  I am blessed to be married to the love of my life and we have two precious children, Rylee and Jordan. When asked what my favorite subject in school was, I would always say SCIENCE!
