When creating assignments, make sure to pay attention to the term you have selected, as well as the class/course. You can create an assignment for just one class or you can create an assignment for multiple classes.
Make sure to select the correct score type. Remember to use the same score type for the entire year!
When entering grades, always double-check to make sure you have the correct term and class that you need. When entering grades, you can hover over the assignment name and more information will appear. This is helpful when you have an assignment with a longer name.
You can also mark grades as late, exempt, or missing, and you also have the option to leave comments on a grade so parents and students can see more details.
At the end of each grading period, you can go into your rosters and mark your grades as completed. This will let your registrar know that you are finished so he/she can print report cards.
Always make sure you are completely finished with entering grades before you mark them as complete. Once your gradebook is closed, you won't be able to go back in and make any adjustments.
