ELA Practice

Some parents have requested access to the Quizlet to practice at home. I have attached URL links to some activities we are working on, will be working on, or have talked about in class. Have fun! Reading Comprehension: Students can practice reading comprehension at: https://readtheory.org/ We use this program in class. On your child's Google Chrome book in class they click "Login" and then "Login with Google". At home they should still be able to login, but they will use their email address and password (their login information for their Google Chrome book). This is an EXCELLENT website that gives your child passages to read and asks them comprehension questions.

Typing

Another great skill to practice at home is typing. With technology only advancing, we can better prepare your child for the technology advances in the world by becoming fluent at typing. We type in class, but the more practice the better! Also, the Georgia Milestones is completely online, and students need to have good typing skills to be better prepared for the test.
