About Me

Hello! My name is Kelly Goldin. This is my 11th year teaching and my 4th year at Model High School. 

I graduated from Tift County High School in 2008, from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors in Agriculture in Food Science in 2012, and from Berry College with a Masters in Business Administration in 2016. I worked for four years as a Food Scientist at Southeastern Mills in Rome before becoming a science teacher. I was chosen as STAR teacher in 2020 and 2022 for Rome High School, and in 2026 for Model High School. 

When not teaching Chemistry in a tie-dyed lab coat, you can find me chasing after my 4.5 year old (Levi), 2 year old (Elizabeth) and my Pyredoodle (Molly) with my husband Matthew.
